Our
aims are based upon belief that a pre-school nursery
fulfils a vital role in the development of a child under
the age of 5, since it should be concerned with all areas
of a child's personal development in physical, social,
emotional, perceptional and intellectual aspects.
A
nursery should create a happy and caring atmosphere in a
stable environment for the children to develop their
potential and be prepared for school life in every way
necessary. By careful planning and imaginative use of
equipment a young mind can be challenged and developed.
Understanding that a child could spend most of the first 5
years of his/her life in a nursery tells all of us how
essential it is to provide a stimulating, exciting and
learning atmosphere for that child, whilst at the same time
emulating the love and affection offered by caring parents
to their children at home.
We insist upon both of these things in our nurseries and
through good management and positive directives to staff,
we know this can be achieved with great success.
Staff provide specialist care to small groups of children
planning activities taking into account each child's
individual needs.
